Text Box: On 4/4/15 @ 14:59 Hrs. Police were called to the Wal-Mart for a female shoplifter in custody. Asset protection officers observed Lauren Elliott, of Norwood, PA, enter the store and steal $73.00 worth of tooth brush heads. She was arrested by Sgt. McNamee and charged with retail theft.

Text Box: On 4/4/15 @ 19:15 Hrs. Police were called to the Wal-Mart for multiple shoplifters in custody. Asset protection officers advised Police that they observed four people in the store switching price tags and concealing merchandise valued at $223.00. The three adults were identified as Joseph Robinson, Lakeisha Robinson and Kelly Thraves, all of Philadelphia, PA. The fourth person was a juvenile. All four were arrested by Officer Salisbury and charged with retail theft and criminal conspiracy
Text Box: On 4/6/15 @ 01:23 Hrs. Police were on patrol in the area of 9th & Simpson when they observed a Dodge pickup truck make some traffic violations. The truck was stopped and the driver was identified as Christopher Papa of Glenolden, PA. He appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances. He was given field sobriety tests and failed. He was also found to be in possession of cocaine. He was arrested by Officer Coyle and charged with DUI, drug possession and possessing drug paraphernalia. 
Text Box: On 4/6/15 @ 16:00 Hrs. Police were called to the Wal-Mart for a female shoplifter in custody. Asset protection officers advised Police that they observed Tiffany Michio, of Lansdown, PA, enter the store and steal $94.00 worth of fishing string. She was arrested by Officer Golden and charged with retail theft. 
Text Box: On 4/8/15 @ 16:17 Hrs. Police were called to the Shop Rite Market for a female shoplifter in custody. Security officers advised Police that they observed Sara Robinson, of Chester, PA, enter the store and steal $45.00 worth of baby formula. She was arrested by Officer Sweet and charged with retail theft. 
Text Box: On 4/9/15 @ 18:10 Hrs. Police were called to the Wal-Mart for a female shoplifter in custody. Asset protection officers advised Police that they observed Melissa Jacuk, of Morton, PA, enter the store and steal $306.00 worth of clothing. She was arrested by Officer Coyle and charged with retail theft. 
Text Box: On 4/4/15 @ 16:34 Hrs. Police were on patrol in the 1400 block of Chester Pike when they stopped an Acura for traffic violations. During a further investigation the driver of the vehicle was identified as Darren Pierce of Marcus Hook, PA. He was found to be in possession of numerous bags of marijuana. He was arrested by Sgt. McNamee and charged with drug possession and numerous traffic offenses. 
Text Box: On 4/10/15 @ 09:00 Hrs. a resident from the 1200 block of E. 9th St. reported she found some fraudulent transactions on her bank savings account in the amount of $500.00. The incident is being investigated. Residents are reminded to check the status of their bank accounts regularly and watch doing personal banking from cell phones in public. 
Text Box: On 4/11/15 @ 14:54 Hrs. Police were called to the 1100 block of E. 8th St. for a discovered burglary. The actor was discovered to be an ex-boyfriend identified as William Palladino of Eddystone, PA. During further investigation an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest for burglary. Separate charges were also filed for violating a PFA order. Palladino was later arrested and remanded to the County Prison.
